What is Divide County Area Dollars for Scholars?

The Divide County Area Dollars for Scholars® was founded in 1992 by Ken Engberg.  In its first twenty-nine years, the group has awarded a total of $1,099,860 through 1,360 scholarships to students graduating from Divide County High School in Crosby, North Dakota. Our mission is to provide students from our community with the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education. We seek to support the students in our community as they apply to and return to college to complete their degrees.

When we awarded our first scholarship in 1992, our goal was to provide assistance to every graduate who applied.  We've reached that goal and are moving onward.  This could not have been done without the support of our local communities, friends, and families. Thank you for your continued support as we continue to work to provide the students of Divide County High School with more opportunities to continue their education by helping to defray the expensive costs of post-secondary education.
